WinterHOPE 2022
Bringing hope and warmth amidst Winter
The WinterHOPE drive encourages everyone to collect warm winter clothes, blankets and non-perishable food items for distribution to people in need during the cold winter months. Our vulnerable communities suffer the most from the aftermath of COVID19 and seem to struggle even more than ever to make ends meet. Last year 1305 shelter beds were utilised, and the WinterHOPE collective received 1472 blankets and 1364 shopping bags of food for redistribution across South Africa.
WinterHOPE is a partnership of giving, which has grown in reach and influence over the past 20 years. This year’s partners comprise a national footprint of organisations, under the leadership of MES (Johannesburg, Kempton Park, Gqeberha, and Cape Town), PEN (Pretoria), Towers of Hope (Bloemfontein) and the KZN His Hands (Durban).
Everyone is welcome to get involved in WinterHOPE – to help give hope and bring warmth to those who need it most. Drop-off points have been setup for easy access in Pretoria, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Gqeberha, Bloemfontein as well as smaller towns in the outlying districts. Cash donations are also welcome and the following platforms are recommended: Snapscan, EFT, and PayFast, the WinterHOPE website or directly into the WinterHOPE account.

Reflecting on our Journey
The WinterHOPE campaign touched the hearts of many people in 2021.
Thank you for your contribution to making winter more bearable for the less fortunate.
However, this would not have been possible without God’s active involvement and blessings and we praise Him for His mercy and love.
